Behaviorism – the direction in psychology of the XX century, ignoring the phenomena of consciousness, mentality and entirely reducing behavior of the person to physiological reactions of an organism to environment influence. Blonsky Pavel Petrovich (1884–1941) – the Russian and Soviet teacher and the psychologist, wrote over 200 works on philosophy, psychology and pedagogics («Labor school», «Pedagogics», «Tasks and methods of national school», «Sketches of children's sexuality», etc.). Blonsky acted with criticism of old school and proved bases of creation of new school, in a cut work and self-education should occupy a big place.
